Adventures in Public Transportation
Hello all. This morning I did something that I never did before. I rode the bus by myself to school. My car pool didn't show *grr*, and my Dad had to go to work so he said he'd drop me off at the Bus Stop since it was on his way. I waited for 10 minutes for the bus. It costed $1.35. I sat right in front. The bus was crowded for a little bit but by the time we got to Northridge it was almost empty. I was the only white person on the bus, that was a little weird. I just looked out the window. Oh, everyone seemed to know everyone else, the driver, the passengers, everyone. Everyone was talking and stuff, in Spanish, I understood a little of it. I liked it. I liked being on my own. It was an adventure. :) I also discovered that that particular bus would take me to my best friend, Michael's, house. So, I survived, woo hoo!! I'll be taking the bus home today as well.

Love,
Amanda
