My Weekend
I had a very nice weekend, so I wanna tell you all about it!!
Friday
My day at school on Friday was very easy, very laid back or "chill" as some would say. I decided to try it Michael LOL. That evening I had plans with Michael and Kyle to see a movie. I went over to Michael's house right after school and we hung out. I watched him play this cool game called "Animal Crossing". At 5:30, we went to get Kyle from the mall where he works. Kyle showed us some Valentine's Day stuff he had purchased, the best was these Cherry Coke flavored Gummy candies. Oh...my...gosh...sooooooooo good!! LOL. We then went to dinner with Michael's family at El Torito, which was very nice. We saw "Shanghi Nights" which I enjoyed. I thought it was really funny. It was much better than I thought it was going to be. I give it 2.5 stars.
Saturday
I woke up early on Saturday. My Dad was taking my sister and I to see the Harlem Globetrotters. We left at around noon. The game was being played at UCLA. As we walked into the arena, my sister looked around and noticed that there were mostly young kids there. It was funny. My Dad looked so happy. I could tell how much it meant to him to share this experience with us. He had watched the Globetrotters play when he was a kid. The game was great. It was more of a show than a game. There were so many funny moments that my stomach started to hurt from laughing!! We had a celebrity sighting at the game: Jake Thomas, who plays Matt McGuire on the Dinsey Channel show, "Lizzie McGuire". My sister and I *love* that show, so it was cool to see him. He's such a small guy. He looked about 8 years old hehe. After the game, we went to my Dad's work for about an hour, then came home. It was a really nice day that I won't forget.
Sunday
Yesterday, I saw "How to Loose a Guy in 10 Days" with Michael and his sister, Katie. I loved it. It was a perfect Romantic-Comedy, one of my favorite kinds of movies. I give it 3 stars. To see what Michael thought, read his new Blog!! After, I went to dinner with Michael and his parents at Frankie's, a great Italian restaurant. A great end to a great weekend. :)
