Our First Date
Hi all. :) I had a wonderful time today with Santiago. This is what happened...
I spent a long time getting ready today making sure everything was just right; my hair, my make-up, my clothes, everything. My Dad took drove me to the bowling alley. Santiago and I met at Corbin Bowl at 4:00pm. When we looked around inside we realized it was so full of kids that there were no lanes open. We asked how long the wait would be and we were told 30 minutes to an hour. Bummer hehe. We decided to go get something to eat at In-N-Out. He paid which I thought was very nice of him. While we ate, we talked about his visiting Peru ( where he was born), Star Wars (we're both fans!!), and the Oscars. I could have sat there all day just listening to him. He so much to say. When we were done, we walked back to Corbin and were pleased to find that the kids were gone and almost all of the lanes were free. I saw my friend Kyle's Dad and I waved. He waved and asked, 'Where's Michael?". I told him he was at home hehe. I saw Kyle, but he looked very busy, so I didn't say anything to him. Santiago and I got our shoes and decided on Lane 11. I got off to a good start. I hit 8 pins. But it all went downhill from there LOL. I kept getting gutter balls, so Santiago offered to help me. He stood beside me and guided my arm so it was straight. I hit 9 pins (woo hoo for me!!). Santiago is a great bowler. He got 2 strikes!! So, we bowled and we laughed and it was so nice, I was having such a great time. All of a sudden Santiago just kind of stared at me after he got his ball back from the machine. I said, "Hey, it's your turn" and he just kind of blinked and shyly said, "I'm sorry I got lost in your eyes" and then he gave me the cutest smile hehe. Now, some of you may be think, 'Oh that's so corny', but I liked it. I thought it was so sweet. No one's ever said things like that to me before. It was like out of one of the many romatic movies that I love. When our 2 games were finished, Santiago walked me to the bus stop where we both talked about how we didn't want go home yet hehe. The bus came all too soon and Santiago once again gave me a hug goodbye. We've made plans to see each other at school this week and we're going to CityWalk next Saturday.
