Who Needs The World When I've Got You
Yesterday I went out with Santiago. Again, what an amazing guy!! Here's what happened:
We met at the Galleria after he got off work. We hung out for a while because the movie wasn't until 4:15. We saw "Anger Mangement" which he thought was really funny. It was funny to me too, the second time I'd seen it!! Before it started he was being really cuddely and it was driving me crazy, but in a good way LOL. So cute!! After the movie he was like, "Well, what now? and he smiled. I didn't know. I suggested renting a movie and watching it at his place. He liked that idea hehe. So, we rode the 150 all the way to Woodland Hills and I finally got to see where he lived. It's a nice complex, much bigger than my apartment building. We had been talking on the bus and it had totally slipped his mind to call home and tell his parents I was coming. Woops hehe. It was fine, though. They were happy to see me. His mom is such a sweetheart, I really liked her. His dad is really funny, I'd met him when he took us to Universal on our second date. Santiago showed me his room. Wow, he's *so* cool LOL. Instead of posters of movies, sports, or women (except his love LeeLee Sobieski and Marilyn Monroe), he has posters of historical figures!! I thought that was awesome!! He has a ton of history books and little things like a charm of the Zodiac sign for Aquarius, his sign. He suggested we go to the medival fair coming up and I could get one of my sign, Cancer. We just sat there smiling at each other and I thought we were going to kiss, but his dad called that dinner was ready. Darn LOL. Dinner was nice. His parents talked about life in Puru and his mom told a story about having tortillas for the first time since they are no tortillas in Peru. Very interesting. Santiago gets along well with his family. They seemed very close. When dinner was finished everyone settled into the living room. Santiago went to put on "Amadeus" and his parents both got up saying "Oh, I've seen this" and his mom was like, "Oh, yes you've seen this three times". It was really cute and funny how they did that so we could be alone. His dad even turned down the lights!! LOL When we sat down to watch the movie Santiago put his arm around me and it stayed that way until he got up to get a glass of water. Oh, the water, they put lime in it. Very yummy!! Anyways, the movie was great. I totally loved it. 4 stars!! I could have stayed with him holding me on that couch all night. I was sad when it was time to go. The movie was over ad the credits were rolling and we just sat there staring at each other. My heart was pounding and I thought we were going to kiss again, but I got up. I got scared I guess. I've never felt this strongly about someone and have them feel the same way. It's incredible, but also frightening at the same time. I don't know if you guys get that hehe. His dad took me home and we made plans to do something today. I'll write again and tell you how it goes. :)
Love,
Amanda
