I'm 20??!!
Last Thursday, July 3, I turned 20. I'm so old!! LOL Here's what I did to celebrate.
I woke up at 7:35am, the precise moment I was born. I do this every year hehe. I stayed up because my sister was leaving for New York and I wanted to say goodbye. When I went out to the dining room I saw something on the table. A cute pink cat, a beanie babie named Carnation and a card from my sister. I thought it was so sweet of her to get me that. I said thank you. She and my Dad left for LAX after that and it was just my Mom and me. I decided to have breakfast and take a shower. When I was done, I went back to the dining room and saw that another present was on the table. My Mom saw me looking at it and she said, "You can open that.". I smiled and began ripping the floral pink tissue paper. Inside was a make-up case. It was filled with different eye shadows, lip glosses, nail polishes, mascara, brushes, a mirror, everything!! The kit was divided in a pinks side with pinks, purples, and mauves and a more neutrals side with tans and browns. I have been having a lot of fun trying everything out!! My Mom told me to wait for my Dad to get back before I opened my cards. He came back a few minutes later and I began opening my cards. I got to my parents' and thought it would just be a regular card. When I opened it, I found $200 inside!! Ten $20 bills!! That was a huge surprise. I thought it was very nice of them to give me that. Unfortunately, Kyle couldn't come. Michael came around 11:20. I wasn't ready yet, so he just sat in the living room and watched "Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones" which I had been watching on HBO. My parents took us to Hamburger Hamlet for lunch. I go my favorite: a fruit shake and an avocado burger called "The Marilyn". Yummy!! We had a really nice time. Afterwards, Michael and I went to the AMC Promenade to see "Alex and Emma". There was a little traffic on the way. We made it just as the previews ended and the movie started. I liked it a lot. We came home and it was time for cake. I always get the same cake every year: Cheesecake ice cream with peaches from Cold Stone Creamery. Again, yummy!! My Dad took a few pictures. After that, Michael and I watched a little of "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets". After a little while, my Dad came in to tell us it was time to leave for the Dodger game. Yay!! I had my Shawn Green jersey on and I was pumped for the game. I love night games!! We had a lot of fun that night, even though the Dodgers lost. We went home and it was time for the day to come to an end. Michael gave me a hug and said happy birthday. He was leaving for a cruise the next day, so I was a little sad hehe. It was one of the best, if not the best, birthday ever!!
