What I Think About My Classes
Well, the first two days back are over. I thought I'd share my first impressions of my classes this semester.
ART 111- This is my first art history class. Jennifer is with me, which will be great. I also have my friends, Victor, Irene, Maryiln, and a few other people I've had other art classes with in there too. When I first saw my professor, I thought she looked stern and serious. That changed when she left the podium and said to the class, "I'll be back", in a funny Arnold accent. I knew then that this class was going to be fine. She told us the details about how she came to be an art historian, something I'm always curious about with any professor. She showed us a few slides of different works and we spoke about them. I know I'm going to enjoy this class.
ANTHROPOLOGY 150- I have this class with all my friends; Michael, Kyle, and Jennifer. The professor seemed nice. It's a big classroom, 65 students all together. The subject sounded interesting. I'll see how it goes.
MATH 131- Wow, what a character this professor is!! She's very sweet, but soo absent minded. Michael took this course last semester (what I should have done!!) so I knew a lot about it already. This should be my last math class ever!! Yay!! Sorry to anyone who likes math, it just isn't my subject.
ART 148- This is my Color Theory class, the class I've wanted to take since I started CSUN. I could not be happier with my professor. He's funny, enthusiastic, and really cares about the subject and his students. We're going on 3 field trips, one to see the Oscar nominated movie costumes at FIDM. Cool huh? One of the projects we're doing is making kites. How fun is that?? This is an 8:00 class, but I think I'll have no problem waking up.
I'm off to a good start. I'm very excited for the rest of the semester. :)
